Welcome to Solar Challenge
September 2012 calls international and local teams to compete in theSasol Solar Challenge, an epic two-week country wide endurance challenge of specially engineered solar powered vehicles.

Teams will have to design and build their own innovative vehicles, which will be put to the test as they travel 5400km across some of the most demanding terrain South Africa has to offer.
